CytoChip Oligo arrays have an ISCA design to ensure the resolution required to fully characterize copy number imbalances, while also providing the software tools to ensure the resulting data is efficiently interpreted and confidently reported. The CytoChip Oligo array is available in four formats (2x105K, 4x44K, 4x180K and 8x60K), all ISCA compliant, to ensure the ideal resolution for each investigation, all formats deliver:
- Constitutional design. Each CytoChip Oligo array offers genome wide coverage, including subtelomeres and pericentromeres and a constitutional disease focused design. The 2x105K array detects 100 Kb imbalances on the backbone and has tiling of 20 probes over 137 OMIM disease loci enabling exact reporting of gene content in critical regions.
- Automated analysis. Fully automated analysis and reporting of multiple samples, from scanned TIFF images to ISCN compliant reports, in a single click. Advanced statistical algorithms reduce noise and automate calling of regions of copy number imbalance. DecisionTrack visualization allows imbalances to be viewed alongside gene content, CNV frequency and all other samples within the database. BlueFuse Multi software removes operator error and ensures informative results, at the required resolution, are delivered in minutes by lab staff without the need for specialist training.
- Comprehensive data management. BlueFuse Multi stores array results and all information relating to samples and protocols in a single, secure, SQL database managed locally within the laboratory. Comprehensive queries allow results for all samples to be quickly located, displayed in DecisionTrack, compared and reported. Click through facilities provide direct access to online databases and genome browsers.
- Identification of CNVs. The CytoChip Oligo is supplied with CNV annotations collated from BlueGnome's database of over 1400 samples that are displayed in DecisionTrack. More powerful however is the ability to investigate the locations and frequencies of regions of copy number imbalance on the basis of the most relevant sample database of all- your own.
- FISH confirmation of results. CytoChip Oligo is backed by a full tiling path library of over 26,000 pre-labelled BlueFish probes to enable the physical location of imbalances to be confirmed.
